It's All About You Interview With Jo Love - Lobella Loves Founder
Jo Love is the gorgeous lady behind the new online market place Lobella Loves which launched today. The site sells many beautiful brands aimed at mums and babies and they of course are selling our Mama Rules silky soft large muslins. Money from every sale will help mums with perinatal illnesses. Jo chose to launch this week to raise awareness of these illnesses during mental health week. To celebrate the launch Jo has completed our quick fire interview so that we can get to know the Mama behind the new brand. Well done Jo and every success in the launch the website is stunning.

My favourite out OUT look:
Skinnies and a bit of bling and if it's summer I’m a magpie for neon.
My favourite in IN look:
Bra off. Hair up. Joggers on.
Knackered mama style tip:
A messy bun does wonders - it not just for the teenagers or sexy gym bunnies. Also big sunnies hide the dark circles instantly, so no need to faff with concealer.
Palm print or florals?
Definitely Palms.
Flamingos or pineapples?
100% Flamingos. They are my all time faves so much so every birthday I always get some kind of flamingo related gift, card, wrapping etc. I even dressed up as one for a Uni night out which at the time was the highlight of my entire life.
Parenting rule you’ve abandoned:
Probably all of them! I feel I’m rather quickly working my way through the list of things I swore I would never do before I became a parent.
Last time you had a full night's sleep (over 7 hours):
I need ALL of the sleep, so if it means I have to go to bed at 8pm if I even half suspect I’m going to have an interrupted night/early wake up – I will!
The first thing you do once the kids hit the sack:
Work. Wine. Work. Wine. Sleep.
If motherhood were a cocktail it would be called:
Winging It.
Has a hangover since having a child ever been worth it?
Tricky question. Going to reluctantly go with yes. When you're out with the girlis everything is worth it although it really doesn’t feel like it when the toddler alarm clock goes off and the ‘adult headache’ kicks in the next day!
Favourite thing your kid/s says:
I lubboo Mummy (I love you Mummy) or and “Mummy dwinks gin” (not so funny when it’s said in public places!)
24hrs without the kid/s, what’s your plan?
Friends, food, laughing and then bed and Netflix
Essential item for motherhood survival:
Wine and Coffee. In equal measure!
Would you put on make up to go and buy make-up wipes?
Ha ha, no definitely not. Why would anyone ever do that? Some people clearly have too much time on their hands.
Most embarrassing motherhood moment:
Realising mid-way through a super serious work meeting, I had a big and very obvious Weetabix smear across my silk blouse which everyone had been too polite to mention. Cringe.
Mama super hero power you would choose:
The ability to stop time temporarily. That way I’d get to enjoy those awesome moments with my Small Person just that little bit longer. And more importantly it would give me the opportunity to get all the crappy tasks done, have a hot cup of tea in peace and then feel super smug and relaxed when I pressed go again.
What do you wish you’d been told about motherhood beforehand?
How utterly relentless the job is – I wouldn’t have listened though, or if I did, I wouldn’t have understood quite how relentless and all-consuming the task it.
Three words to describe yourself:
Amibitious, loving and loyal.
Exciting upcoming plans:
Launching Lobella Loves which feels a bit like my second baby right now!
Why do Mama's Rule?
Because we are a seriously awesome hustling, juggling, gang of bloody super heroes
